Marta Schluneger

Marta is a marketing manager, entrepreneur, and new Icelander who is obsessed with knitting. Before relocating to Iceland, she taught business English in Switzerland and was studying to become a high school teacher. She learned to knit from her grandma at age 11 and her love for the hobby rekindled when she arrived in Iceland and was surrounded by the rich knitting culture.

She is passionate about all things design from painting, graphic design, and of course knitwear design. The endless potential and possibilities of knitting, brought to life directly from the sofa, is what continuously brings her back to the needles.

Recently she has co-founded a company https://www.knitflik.com/ with a partner and has been working to build an app to customize and design knitwear.
