The Textile Center awards six 2-month residential scholarships for textile artists in 2019 - 2022. This opportunity came via Nordic Culture Point.

We will award textile artists based in the Nordic-Baltic region with scholarships to develop and present new work in Iceland, lead a community workshop, connect to international networks and gain insight in Icelandic textile tradition and innovation.

The call for applications for our last scholarship, a digital loom residency in 2021 / 2022, is now open! Deadline for applications is March 31, 2021.

Please note that we accept applications for regular residencies all year round (open call).
