Elsa er forstöðumaður Textílmiðstöðvarinnar og hefur umsjón með daglegum rekstri stofnunarinnar. Hún er með B.A. próf í mannfræði og heimspeki frá Háskóla Íslands, diplómu í textíl frá Myndlistarskólanum í Reykjavík og meistaragráðu í listkennslu frá Listaháskóla Íslands.

Elsa is the director of the Icelandic Textile Center. She has a B.A. degree in anthropology and philosophy from the University of Iceland, a diploma in textiles from the Reykjavík Academy of Arts, and a Master's degree in art education from the Icelandic University of the Arts.

Katharina er verkefnastjóri hjá Textílmiðstöðinni. Hún, ásamt forstöðumanni, hefur umsjón með samstarfsverkefnum Textílmiðstöðvarinnar, Tracks4Crafts, Threads o.fl.; einnig upplýsinga- og kynningarmálum, heimasíðu, samskiptum við listafólk, námsveri, fjarprófum háskólanema og þýðingar.

Katharina is a project manager at the Icelandic Textile Center. She holds a Master’s degree in English and History and a diploma in Library and Information Science. She works on collaborative projects such as Threads and Tracks4Crafts, oversees communications, manages the homepage and social media, and supervises the distance learning facilities at the Textile Center.
Ragnheiður er veflistamaður og kennari og sérfræðingur á sviði vefnaði hjá Textílmiðstöðinni. Hún útskrifaðist úr Textíldeild Myndlistar- og Handíðaskóla Íslands og er með meistagráðu í listkennslu frá Háskólanum á Akureyri. Ragnheiður beinir rannsóknum sinum m.a. að vefnaðarmunstrum sem tilheyra kennslugögnum Kvennaskólans á Blönduósi og hefur haft umsjón með hagnýtu rannsóknaverkefni ,,Bridging Textiles to the Digital Future" 2017-2020.

Ragnheiður is a textile artist and educator. She is the weaving expert at the Icelandic Textile Center and led the research project "Bridging Textiles to the Digital Future" 2017-2020. Ragnheiður is a graduate of The Icelandic College of Art and Craft and studied experimental textiles at John F. Kennedy University in California. She also holds a Master's degree in art education from the University in Akureyri.
Sarah Finkle er textíllistakona, umsjónarmaður TextíLabs og vefnaðarsérfræðingur. Hún lauk BA-prófi í myndlist við Skidmore College, með áherslu á textíl, vefnað og skúlptúr, og meistaraprófi í myndlist (MFA) við Listaháskóla Íslands.

Sarah Finkle is an Iceland based textile artist by way of New York. She is one of the TextileLab managers as well as a weaving specialist here at the Icelandic Textile Center. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Studio Art at Skidmore College, with a concentration in textiles, weaving and sculpture. She received a master's Degree in Fine Arts at Listaháskóli Íslands with a focus on large scale woven installations.
Chiara Alissa Estivariz Lopez holds a Master’s degree in Visual Cultures, Curating, and Contemporary Art from Aalto University and a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion from Pforzheim University. She is one of the Textile Lab Managers at ITC. In her design practice she specialises in exhibition design, research, and textiles, and works as a costume designer in the performing arts. As an active member of Softislab Helsinki, she collaborates with fellow designers on experimental learning spaces focused on systemic sustainability change within the fashion field.
