Tufting in Húsavík

The Nordic Fablab Bootcamp took place in Húsavík, Iceland from January 5th to 9th, 2026. Its aim is to strengthen networking and provide practical experience annually.

Our TextileLab team, as part of the Fablab Islands network, participated with its tufting course. Participants could create their own carpets samples, art pieces and logos. Alongside the Tufting workshops held by our lab manager Alissa, the program offered experimentation and knowledge exchange in operating embroidery machines, screen printing, 3D printing, laser cutting and more.

The Nordic Fablab Network includes Denmark, Finland, Faroe Islands, Greenland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden.
