Tracks4Crafts in Bucharest

Yes, we know how lucky we are - getting to travel for projects, seeing interesting places and meeting the most inspiring people for work!

The 2026 Tracks4Crafts consortium meeting took place in Bucharest, Romania, 6-9 October. We met up with project partners, visited Semne Cusute’s Atelier, the National Museum of the Romanian Peasant, and learned about Romania’s rich and colourful textile traditions.

Our collaborators from Politecnico di Milano presented a portable “Material Library” with samples from all pilot cases. We’re in there too with seaweed, wool and samples from projects like “Fjólublár” (Living Purple). Lots of inspiration to take home!
