Students from the Reykjavík Academy of Visual Art
On September 1, 11 students from the Reykjavík School of Visual Art (Myndlistaskólinn í Reykjavík) came to visit the Textile Center, TextileLab and Ós Residency.
The Reykjavík School of Visual Arts is a non-profit organisation, operated by artists and designers. The school has accreditation from the Directorate of Education as a private secondary school, and teaches a variety of courses including drawing, colour theory, painting, illustration and comic art, ceramics, textiles, photography and computer courses.
In December 2021, a group of Myndlistaskólinn students will return to Blönduós, stay at the Textile Center and use our facilities - we look forward to hosting them here!
