In connection with the beach cleanup workshops held in May 2019, we asked scientists at BioPo to answer a few basic questions on plastic waste and ocean pollution.

On May 25, 2019, an art workshop and beach cleanup initiative was held at beaches along the coast of Northwest Iceland. The project was a collaboration of the Icelandic Textile Center and BioPol in Skagaströnd and funded by Uppbyggingarsjóður NV and the Icelandic Ministry of the Environment.
