Textile book art - summer exhibition at the Textile Museum

Every summer, the Textile Museum in Blönduós (located right next to Kvennaskólinn) hosts a special exhibition of Icelandic textile artists and designers.
This year, the exhibition features the book art show "Spor" by ARKIR (QUIRES), a group of eleven Icelandic book artists, as well as the works of international artists Cornelia Theimer Gardella (Germany), Anne Greenwood (USA) and Catherine Ferland (Canada). They have all been artists in residence at the Textile Center in recent years.
The museum is now open daily (10:00-17:00) until August 31st!
